Priyanka Promises To Fight People’s Problem While Doing Door-to-Door Campaigning

Lucknow , Feb 3:  Congress general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra reached Dadri on Thursday for a road show and door to door campaigning for the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls. In her brief address, Priyanka assured the people that the Congress party is completely with them and will do everything possible to help them in their fight. She will also campaign in the adjoining Anupshahr and other assembly continuencies of Bulandshahr district. Congress sources here said Ms Vadra is expected to go to Dohrau village in Bulandshahr to meet the family members of the gangrape and murder victim. An incident similar like Hatras, the family members of the victim had alleged that the body was cremated forcefully by police in the night. During her road show and door to door campaigning in Dadri , Ms Vadra appealed to the public to vote for the party candidate Deepak Chotiwala. People standing on both sides of the road welcomed Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Deepak by showering flowers. Priyanka did a roadshow from near Dadri Tehsil to Dadri Tirahe . Priyanka Gandhi said openly injustice is being done to those who buy flats in Noida and Greater Noida. ” For many years they have to live as tenants in their own houses without registration. The fault lies with the builders, the collusion of the administration and the builders, but people have to suffer,” she said. A leaflet containing the pledges of Congress is also being distributed on behalf of Priyanka. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is also sending letters to the women of Uttar Pradesh, referring to the promises made in the Congress Pledge and Shakti Vidhan. This pink colored leaflet with the shape of a postcard has been named Shakti Samvad.
