Gaya, Jan 21 : Four members of a family died of asphyxia under Atri police station area in Gaya district of Bihar on Thursday.

Police said here on Friday that Vibha Devi along with her children Simran Kumari, Aryan Kumar and Ankita Kumari was fast asleep in their house when they died of asphyxia as oxygen level in the closed room reduced considerably due to bonfire arranged to beat the severe cold.

All of them were found dead in morning, police added.

All the bodies had been sent for post-mortem, police said adding the case was being investigated.

Locals were also being questioned in this connection, police further added.
