Criminal Cases Registered Against Naidu, Others Over Irregularities In IRR Design
Vijayawada, May 1: Andhra Pradesh CID police has registered criminal cases against Telugu Desam Party Chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, former Minister P Narayana and five others in connection with the irregularities in the Inner Ring Road and Amaravati master plan design.
YSRCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy lodged a complaint with the AP CID police stating that irregularities took place in the IRR design. The AP CID police registered cases on May 9 under Sections IPC 120B, 420, 34, 35, 36, 37, 166, 167 and 217 and also under Section 13 (2), r/w 13 (1) a of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 against the then Chief Minister and ex-Officio Chairman of AP CRDA N Chandrababu Naidu, the then Minister for Municipal Administration and Vice-Chairman of AP CRD, Businessmen Lingamaneni Ramesh, Venkata Surya Raja Sekhar, Ramakrishna Housing Private limited Director KVB Anjani Kumar and Heritage foods.
Heritage foods is owned by Chandrababu Naidu family. Ramakrishna Reddy lodged the complaint with the AP CID police against the irregularities in the design of IRR and Amaravati master plan on April 27 this year.
