U19 Finals: Kohli’s Best Wishes For Dhull And Team
Antigua, Feb 5: India U19 captain Yash Dhull said Virat Kohli, who had captained the U19 to the World Cup win in 2008, has sent his best wishes to the current team and lifted their morale ahead of the summit clash against England.
“He gave us his best wishes as the team is doing well. So his words will give us confidence. When a senior player speaks with the team, the team morale gets a boost. He spoke to us about some basic things such as how to play normal cricket, how to stick to our game plan etc. It was good to interact with him,” Dhull said during a pre-match press conference.
Kohli also tweeted his wishes to the U-19 Team blue.
Sending my best wishes to the Indian U19 Cricket Team ahead of their World Cup final. The nation is behind you, bring it home boys. ?? #U19CWC #IndianCricket @BCCI
