Chris Morris Retires From All Forms Of Cricket

Johannesburg, Jan 11: South Africa all-rounder Chris Morris on Tuesday announced his retirement from all forms of cricket.

The 34-year-old took to Instagram to declare his decision to hang his boots after a 12-year career, adding he would be taking up a coaching role with South Africa domestic team Titans.

“Today I announce my retirement from all forms of cricket! Thanks to all who have played a part in my journey whether it be big or small… it’s been a fun ride! Delighted to be taking up a coaching role at @titanscricket,” wrote Morris.

Cricket South Africa wished the former cricketer, saying, “Congratulations on a fantastic career Chris Morris.”

Morris represented South Africa in 42 One-Day Internationals, 23 T20 Internationals and 4 Tests. He picked 94 wickets and scored 773 runs across all formats.
