Congress day dreaming when in power did nothing on the ground: BJP
Ashok Raina Dharamshala, Feb 8: Dharamshala MLA Vishal Naihariya on Tuesday ridiculed the previous Congress government and said during its tenure the party day dreamed and could not do anything on the ground. He said that under such situation, BJP is now fulfilling the dreams of the Congress. MLA Naihariya said that Congress went on dreaming during its tenure and put up plaques, while neither any formalities were completed on the ground nor budget provision were made for those works. He alleged that the underground dustbins with sensors were installed in Dharamshala, which are now becoming proving to be a serious problem for the public.
On Tuesday, Naihariya held a review meeting regarding the Bus Stand Terminal. After the meeting, the MLA said that in the month of March or April, the construction work of terminal bus stand in Dharamsala would be started, and May, electric buses would also start running in Dharamsala. He said that a state-of-the-art bus stand is to be built on 20 kanal of land where charging points for electric buses will be set up. He said that at the same time, along with the arrangement to park 50 buses, the arrangement of parking for 100 small vehicles will be made in the bus stand and it will be connected to Kotwali Bazar. He said that the target has been set to complete the construction work of the bus stand in 2022 itself. Review meetings are being held from time to time to complete the work within the prescribed time limit. In this connection another meeting will again be held on February 20, to assess the progress of the work.
