Selfishness Of Nitish Responsible For Break-up: Giriraj

Patna, Aug 9: Union Minister Giriraj Singh on Tuesday alleged that selfishness of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was responsible for the breakup of NDA in Bihar.

Reacting on the split in NDA as Nitish Kumar walked out of the alliance joining hands with grand alliance, Giriraj Singh attributed the former’s selfishness for the split saying that it is openly being discussed that Nitish Kumar was in the race of prime minister.

He said that remaining partner of the NDA and till Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister from the alliance the wish of Nitish Kumar becoming a prime minister cannot be fulfilled. Realising this fact Nitish Kumar walked out of the NDA and shifted towards the grand alliance.

Refuting the charges being labelled upon BJP for weakening its Alliance partner JD(U) in Bihar
Giriraj Singh said that it was BJP which even having strength more than the JD(U) continuously
made Nitish Kumar Chief Minister.

The BJP leader said that during 2020 elections the Union Home minister Amit Shah had announced Nitish Kumar as chief minister face of NDA and even after BJP getting 74 seats and JD (U) 43 the BJP made him chief minister of the state.

In satirical manner Giriraj Singh said that he cannot dub Nitish Kumar as “paltu”, the name given to him by leader of a position in Bihar assembly Tejaswi Prasad Yadav. He said that it is the people who would decide what’s wrong and what’s right.

Replying to a query regarding Nitish Kumar as PM material, Giriraj Singh said that this post is free
for everyone and added that Yashwant Sinha contested the recently concluded presidential election whereas Margaret Alva fought for the post of vice president.

He said that it’s upon the people of the nation whom it except as prime minister and added that Narendra Modi would continue in future too as prime minister.
