Punjabis To Have Say In Budget: Kejriwal
Chandigarh, Jan 24: If the AAP takes power in Punjab, the annual budget will be prepared with suggestions from the people who have the best solutions for the problems they face, Delhi Chief Minister and party leader Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday.
Kejriwal said in a statement that the AAP government in Delhi had started deliberations for the budget for 2022-23. Suggestions were being sought from common people and businessmen.
In Punjab too, the budget will be prepared in a similar manner when an AAP government is formed. Before preparing the budget of Punjab, opinions of all sections including common people as well as traders, farmers, businessmen, women and youth will be solicited. Neglected and deprived sections of the state will be able to convey their issues and suggestions to the government for inclusion in official schemes.Â
