Farmers And Youths Being Ignored: Mulayam
Jaunpur (UP), March 4 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) patron Mulayam Singh Yadav on Friday said that that there were major challenges which the country is facing and said that there is discrimination on the lines of caste and creed while farmers, youths and traders were ignored. Addressing an election rally in support of SP candidate Lucky Yadav, Mulayam said, “There are major challenges before the country.
On one hand discrimination is being done on the lines or caste and creed and on the other injustice is being done with the people.” It may be noted that this was the second rally of Mulayam in the ongoing Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. Prior to this he addressed a rally to muster support for his son and SP president Akhilesh Yadav in Karhal in Mainpuri district. The SP patron said, “There are educated youths, who are not getting employment and jobs, there are farmers who are not getting a profitable price for their produce. In such circumstances SP has the biggest responsibility as the party has always worked for the cause of the poor, farmers and youths.” He said that despite hard work the farmers were being ignored.
“Despite all the hard work the farmers do for their yield, they are not getting any facilities. If the country has to develop, facilities should be given to the farmers,” he said. Mulayam said that the situation of the youths is the same as the farmers. “They are educated, but don’t have employment and jobs. What will be their future? Number of unemployed is increasing day by day. If anyone is raising this question then it’s only SP,” he said. He said that youths will get employment and jobs when SP comes to power in the state. “If anyone will do this then only SP can do it. Violence is taking place, differences are being created in the name of caste and backwards. When we will take along everyone then our number will increase. People have lots of hopes with SP and the party will fulfill their aspirations,” he said. It may be noted here that Lucky Yadav, the SP candidate from Malhani seat, is son of Mulayam’s close friend Paras Nath Yadav.
