BJP Will Open Medical College In Punjab: Rajnath
Hoshiarpur, Feb 4: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh while addressing a public meeting in Punjab today said that BJP will open medical colleges at district level, get the accused of sacrilege incidents punished and eliminate drug menace from Punjab from grass root level if voted to power in the forthcoming elections of the state assembly. Singh was addressing an election rally in favour of BJP candidate Raghunath Singh at Datarpur (Talwara).
Bowing to the land of Gurus, Rajnath said that BJP always followed the path enlightened by the great Guru Nanak Dev. It is following the slogan “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Paryas” for the development of the Nation. He said that the martyrdom of the Punjabi people could not be forgotten.
The youths of Punjab and Khalsa Panth had sacrificed their lives for the nation. Sikh youths had made great sacrifices in the Nation’s defence. Condemning the policies of Congress led Punjab government, he said that late Rajiv Gandhi, former PM of India, had failed in controlling the corruption.
Singh highlighted the development works being done by the BJP led Central government. He said that under the able guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the India’s name had risen in the world. He appealed to vote in favour of BJP candidate Raghunath Singh. Addressing the rally, Union Minister of State Som Parkash condemned the Congress led Punjab government for not fulfilling its promises made before the last state assembly elections. Earlier, Rajnath was welcomed by Union State Minister Som Parkash and BJP candidate from Dasuya state assembly segment Raghunath Singh on his arrival at Talwara.
