Recently, on the occasion of Onam, Shashi Tharoor was seen smashing a coconut at a temple which turned into a meme overnight and is ruling the internet at the moment.
Last week, on Saturday, Shashi Tharoor took to the microblogging website, Twitter to share some pictures of him celebrating the festival of Onam. He was dressed in a yellow kurta and white mundu. In one of the pictures, he was spotted smashing a coconut in a temple in Kerala. The moment he shared the pictures, netizens could not keep calm and immediately started photoshopping the leader in various different scenarios and shared them on social media.
The leader, being used to trend on social media for various reasons did not take any offence instead, he shared some of the memes on his own Twitter page. She also shared one of his favourites captioning it, “There are many of these memes going around using the pic of me ritually smashing a coconut. I don’t know who dreams them up by they are often very funny. This one is one of my favourites.”
