Bhubaneswar: Senior journalist Baishnab Charan Jena passed away due to cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was 68.
Jena wa a native of Jajpur district. Condolences poured in from various quarters after his demise.
He mentored many young journalists in Odisha. Baishnab Jena was one of the finest journalists in reporting from Odisha Assembly.
Later on November 16, he attended the National Press Day celebrations by the Journalists Welfare Board and was felicitated too.
Rajya Sabha MP and BJD General Secretary (Media Affairs) Manas Mangaraj has condoled the demise of Baishnab haran Jena.
