School boy injures in Javelin throw, Naveen announces help from CMRF

Bhubaneswar, Dec 17: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday announced that all expenses for treatment of a school student injured in sports event will be incurred from Chief Minister Relief Fund, Patnaik expressed concern over the Javelin accident in Bolangir.

As per reports, a javelin pierced through the neck of a Class IX student during the annual sports
meet of Agalpur Boys’ High School on Saturday.
The seriously injured student was rushed to the Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital in
Bolangir for treatment.


As per the direction of the Chief Minister, Secretary to CM (5T) VK Pandian spoke to Bolangir Collector and enquired about the condition of the boy and directed for all support.
The Chief Minister has directed to provide better treatment to the boy and wished a speedy
recovery of the school boy.
