Rourkela: Woman Allegedly Abused By Jual Oram Vandalises Party Office, Police Files FIR
Rourkela: A woman has alleged that she was abused over telephone by Sundergarh MP and former Union Minister Jual Oram. Basing on the complaints, Jhirpani police on Tuesday registered a FIR by the woman identified as Gouri Mundari of Jagda area, a BJP worker.
According to the complaint, Mundari had called Oram during the evening on Monday and requested his support for the upcoming Panchayat polls. “I had come to know that the MP will be coming to Rourkela on January 24. I called to know about the schedule, but was abused,” she mentioned in the complaint.
In this connection, the Jhirpani police have registered a FIR under Sections 294 and 509 of the IPC and investigating further.
