Bhubaneswar, June 26: The Active Covid cases in Odisha surged to 431 during the last 24 hours, the state Information and Public relations Department said here on Sunday.
The state reported 68 new positive cases on June 25 taking the cumulative tally to 12,89,259. While 40 cases were reported in quarantine 28 were local contact cases. The new cases included 12 cases in the age group of 0-18. Khurdha district reported 34 cases, the highest in the state followed by Cuttack six.
The Test Positivity Rate (TPR )in the state stood at 0.59 per cent during the last 24 hours as the new cases were reported from 11,501 sample tests.
As many as 12, 79, 649 patients have recovered from the infections and discharged from the hospital so far,
The death toll remained at 9,126 as no fresh casualties due to infection were reported in the state during the last around one month.
