Odisha: OBCC asked to prepare a plan for development of Kakatpur Maa Mangala temple within 15 days
Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: V K Pandian, Secretary to Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik,
on Saturday directed officials to prepare a blueprint for the development of Maa Mangala temple, Kakatpur, in Puri district within 15 days..
Pandian gave the direction after holding discussions with the servitors, trustees and local people.
He said the work for the development of the Shakti Pitha will start after the Chief Minister approved the developmental plan prepared by the Odisha Bridge Construction Corporation (OBCC).
Under the programme steps would be taken for the release of water from the temple premises, parking facilities for the visitors and development of the Prachi river bank.
Earlier on the direction of Chief Minister Pandian had reviewed the progress of Parikrama project around Jaganath temple Puri and the construction of the Sri Jaganath Medical College Teaching hospital.
The construction of the medical college teaching hospital would be completed by June 23 next.
Later he reviewed the development work of Chandrabhaga beach, expansion of the Konark-Chandrabhaga state high way and the new ring road.
Pandian directed the officials to complete the expansion work of Konark-Chandrabhaga state
high way by April 2023.
