Odisha COVID-19: 15 Dead, Toll Up At 8,976

Bhubaneswar, Feb 18: As many as 15 persons infected with COVID-19 succumbed to the virus in Odisha, informed State Health & Family Welfare Department on Friday.

With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths reached 8,976 so far.

While 3 infectees died in Khordha district, the virus claimed 2 each lives in Angul, Cuttack and Puri districts. One each died in Balasore, Bargarh, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Mayurbhanj and Nayagarh districts.

A 69 years old Male of Angul District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Chronic Kidney Disease.

A 47 years old Female of Angul District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease & Dilated Cardiomyopathy.

A 13 years old Male of Baragarh who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

A 94 years old Female of Balasore District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Dementia & Chronic Kidney Disease.

70 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and a 67 years old Male of Bhubaneswar.

A 69 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Dilated Cardiomyopathy.

A 70 years old Male of Cuttack District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

A 69 years old Male of Jagatsinghpur District who was also suffering from Metabolic Encephalopathy, Hyponatremia & Hypokalemid.

45 years old Female of Jajpur District who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease & Hypertension.

A 67 years old Male of Khordha District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.

A 76 years old Female of Mayurbhanja District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.

A 68 years old Male of Nayagarh District who was also suffering from Hypertension, Chronic Kidney Disease & Dilated Cardiomyopathy.

A 3 years old Male Child of Puri District who was also suffering from Seizure Disorder.

A 67 years old Male of Puri District who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease & Left Sided Carcinoma Lung.
