Lightning Strikes School In Odisha, 10 Students Injured

Bhubaneswar, Aug 19: As many as ten students of the Puturapasi Upper Primary School in Tileikani block of Deogarh district in Western Odisha were injured, six of them seriously, when lightning struck their school in noon on Friday.

Sources said the lightning struck when the class was going on. Around 15 students and a teacher were present when the mishap occurred.
Soon after the incident, parents and villagers reached the school and shifted the students in Ambulance to a nearby hospital.
