Bhubaneswar, Mar 17: ”Brundaban Mahostav”, a Hindustani Classical Music evening, will be held here on March 19 during Holi festival. Eminent flute player Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia told newspersons on Thursday that the musical evening is being jointly organised by the Odisha department of Tourism and Brundaban Gurukul for the promotion of classical music.
Chaurasia hoped that the event would bring the connoisseur of art closer to classical music. Eminent classical singer like Begum Parveen Sultana, Tabla artist Abhijit Banerjee, Sitarist Subhendra Rao, harmonium player Jyoti Goho are scheduled to perform in the classical music evening, he said.
