Bhubaneswar, Feb 25 : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday requested Union Minister of Home Amit Shah to initiate steps for the safe evacuation of Odia students and labourers stranded in war-torn Ukraine. Patnaik spoke to Shah over the phone this morning and made the request. Chief Minister’s office sources here said the Union Home Minister has assured Patnaik that the Union government is in touch with the Ukraine government and is working on the modalities to bring back students and labourers from Ukraine at the earliest. Sources said over two thousand students from different districts of Odisha are pursuing their medical studies in Ukraine
