Bhubaneswar: The filing of nomination papers for the election to various posts of Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) is to be held today from 10.30 am to 5 pm.
The nomination forms are to be scrutinised tomorrow. The last date of withdrawal of applications and publication of final list of candidates is October 23. The poll is scheduled to be held on October 28.
In the current OCA elections, it has been decided that Jajpur MLA and BJD General Secretary Pranab Prakash Das will submit his nomination for the post of President.
Along with this, the candidature of Sanjay Behera for the post of Secretary and Pankaj Lochan Mohanty for the post of vice-president has also been decided.
Apart from these three posts, there may be elections for the posts of Joint Secretary, Treasurer and one Member. But it is not clear who will be nominated for these positions.
