Sambalpur: Amid rising cases of Covid-19, at least 20 doctors and several medical staff of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR) at Burla in the district have tested positive for COVID-19.
Most of the medical and medical staff, who have tested COVID positive, are either asymptomatic or have mild symptoms. All of them are under isolation after testing positive.
With this rapid surge in cases, the services in the hospital have been partially affected.
