What’s What Exactly ?

July 24: What’s the truth behind the story of the video of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind greeting, over this, both the Opposition and BJP leaders of national repute are in war-of-words in Social media.

If it’s- ‘To see is to believe’ then, BJP has said that the scene of President Ram Nath Kovind greeting PM Modi and the later looking at the camera without greeting is a sheer half-truth and ‘scissored video’.

Now we can have a look over the viral video that’s whirling in social media like a tempest shared by some Indian Politicians with of-course with satirical texts towards PM Modi and the ruling BJP government:

As the term of office of the 14th President of India, Ram Nath Kovind’s ends today, a felicitation ceremony was held for him on Saturday evening in the central hall of the Parliament.

The function was attended by PM Modi, Vice President Venkaih Naidu, Speaker Om Birla, Union Ministers, MPs, various Party leaders, and others. When President Kovind visited the function, everyone stood up and paid respect to him. Then Ramnath Kovind came to greet everyone and greeted in return. PM Modi greeted the President as well and after greeting the former the former stood looking at the camera, by the time Ram Nath Kovind came to say hello.

In response to the blunt criticisms the BJP has been sharing footage of the President greeting before the scene, titled with ‘this is the full video’:

Ram Nath Kovind will address the nation today on the last day of his tenure as Draupadi Murmu will be sworn in as the 15th President of India on July 25.

Whether the video is tampered, a half truth or nothing other than truth, till now the social media trial is still on in digital platforms by many. This’s really pathetic that many of us have hardly any time to pick their ‘Generation Me’ gadget and talk a while to their far-staying near and dear ones, but hyper-active to respond and re-share such videos.
