Russia Intends Expanding Cooperation With India: Envoy

Moscow, March 18: India is interested in oil supplies from Russia, Moscow intends to expand cooperation, Russian Ambassador to New Delhi Denis Alipov said on Friday.

“The Indians are interested in deliveries of Russian oil and hydrocarbons. We are interested in expanding cooperation in this area. I think that good prospects are opening up here, and this cooperation will be intensified,” Alipov told the Rossiya 24 broadcaster.

An active and substantive dialogue is already underway, the diplomat said, adding that its results will be known in the near future.
