Railways Stops Recruitment Process, Here’s Why
New Delhi, Jan 26: In view of the student agitation regarding the first stage of the examinations for Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) and Group D of the Railway Recruitment Board, the Ministry of Railways has put on hold both the examinations, it was reported here on Wednesday.
Official sources said that in view of the violent agitation in Bihar, the Railway Ministry has decided to put on hold the second stage of computer-based exam for NTPC and the first stage exam for Group D services, which is also computer-based for the time being. Sources further said that the Railway Ministry has constituted a committee which will listen to the views of students who have both passed and failed in the examination and then submit its report to the ministry. Only after the submission of the report the Railway Ministry will decide on the further course of action. U
