PM Condoles Demise Of Shakuntala Choudhary

New Delhi, Feb 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday condoled the death of eminent social worker and Padma Shri Shakuntala Choudhary and said her efforts to promote Gandhian values will be remembered.

In a tweet, the PM wrote, “Shakuntala Choudhary Ji will be remembered for her lifelong efforts to promote Gandhian values. Her noble work at the Sarania Ashram positively impacted many lives.

Saddened by her passing away. My thoughts are with her family and countless admirers. Om Shanti.”

The 102-year-old Gandhian leader from Assam passed away on Sunday.
