Even the political and administrative apparatus has thrown open all the avenues of public and the public, which never ever was serious about preventions during the peak of the pandemic, has crossed all the limits of self care. Schools, colleges and rest of the public places it has remained a free for all situation.

Masks have, in a way, disappeared from the majority faces. The challenges from the virus remained one of the insurmountable puzzles for the world, and it still remains so.

The most civilized nations took the lead in relaxing the restrictions as if to flaunt their medical advancement a notch higher.

India followed it and today the Covid positive cases has suddenly leaped to 7,240 plus giving an indication that all is not over.

Odisha has on Thursday logs a spike taking its figures of Wednesday to double.

Nor it is time for self-back patting and an ease on preventions.

Even the Prime Minister of India has reminded the people not to totally ignore the Covid related measures and the Odisha chief minister had stated that, the risks are still there.

Experts are far less assuring about the exact nature of the Covid-19 and its longevity, let alone a final cure. Many doctors have opinions which are more confusing than the existing mix-up in views.
