New Delhi Jan 28 : Union Minister of Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Friday accused some people of “lynching” the country’s culture and Constitution. Modi bashing has now become Bharat bashing, the Minister told reporters here. Naqvi made the remarks after former Vice President Hamid Ansari raised concerns over rising trends of Hindu nationalism during a virtual panel discussion organised by the Indian American Muslim Council on Wednesday.
Naqvi said that some people were spreading falsehood on the issue of minorities which he insisted was opposite to the ground reality. “Some people are becoming a part of anti-India conspiracy of Pakistan-sponsored organisations and these organisations are conspiring to create confusion over India’s culture and inclusivity,” he alleged.
