New-Delhi, Feb 11: India on Friday reported 58,077 new cases in the last 24 hours, as per Union Health Ministry data.
The death toll climbed to 5,07,177 with 657 more fatalities, as per the updated data.
The number of active cases in the country has declined further to 6,97,802 comprising 1.64 per cent of the total infections.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 3.89% per cent and the weekly positivity rate stands at 5.76%, the ministry said.
The cumulative doses administered in the country so far under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive have exceeded 171.79 crore.
