Ratlam (MP), Feb 19: Rajya Sabha Member and Madhya Pradesh’s erstwhile chief minister Digvijaya Singh made headlines again on Saturday owing to his dropping a political bombshell by saying that the 2023 Assembly election might prove to be the final one for the Congress as the electorate would not subsequently give another chance to the party.
Many local leaders of the ruling BJP lost absolutely no time in making the video viral.
The statement was made at the local Circuit House during a chat with groups of Congresspersons from Jaora. They wished to interact with Singh separately but he summoned them together.
“You are not prepared to even speak with one another. If we do not contest the polls unitedly, workers shall become scarce,” the septuagenarian cautioned.
