Congress Demands Restoration Of Air Courier Service For Soldiers In Kashmir Valley

New Delhi, April 8: Congress on Friday slammed the Central government for suspending soldier’s “air courier service” for movement in the Kashmir valley. Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala accused the Narendra Modi-led government had shed tears of false nationalism to get the vote of the youth in the name of Pulwama martyrs and again suspended the “air courier service” of soldiers for movement in the valley.

Surjewala, tweeted in Hindi, said, “We request the government to immediately restore the air courier service for military, paramilitary forces.” Congress demanded immediate resumption of air transport service for soldiers and sought an apology from the government for “risking” the lives of military and paramilitary personnel. Surjewala said that forty four CRPF jawans were martyred in Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019, due to the suspension of the same courier service. UNI
