New Delhi, Feb 4: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Friday demanded the Centre to bring a bill on reservation for women in parliament.
Speaking at Rajya Sabha during the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address, BJD leader Prasanna Acharya said the government has been successful in handling the Covid-19 situation. He further said the Centre has worked for the empowerment of women by launching campaigns such as ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padao’.
The BJD leader urged PM Narendra Modi-led government to bring reservations for women in Parliament and Legislative Assemblies.
