Following the incident, police was held hostage for about 6 hours by the angry villagers.Â
Notably, Chandeshwar Paswan (60 years), a shopkeeper of Palhe Kala village of Patan police station area in Palamu district, had fled with the mother of three children of the village last week. As soon as the husband got the news of the woman’s escape, he filed a case against Chandreshwar Paswan, accusing him of taking away the wife in the women’s police station of Medininagar.
At the same time, Ravi Paswan and Shashi Paswan, two sons of the agitated accused Chandreshwar Paswan, hanged him on Sunday morning with the aim of killing the woman’s husband Mukesh, although somehow Mukesh’s daughter noticed and started making noise, after which Hearing the voice, the people around saved Mukesh’s life. Let me tell you, Mukesh has been admitted to Medinirai Medical College Hospital in Medininagar for treatment, where he is undergoing treatment. At the same time, after this case, the villagers continued to demand the arrest of Chandreshwar Paswan.
In this case, husband Mukesh told that Chandeshwar Paswan was having a love affair with his wife for a long time. About a week ago, Chandeshwar fled with his wife. The woman has fled leaving her three young children. On protesting, a dispute started with both the families. After which both the sons of the accused tried to hang Mukesh on the noose on Sunday morning, so that the matter turns into suicide. But, the father’s life was saved due to the sudden arrival of the daughter.
In view of such growing case, Chandreshwar Paswan had left the woman by taking her to her maternal home. However, the family members had driven the woman away from there. After that the woman reached Palhe’s house on Sunday. After which the angry villagers took the woman hostage and informed the Patan police. When Patan police station in-charge Prakash Kumar reached the spot, the villagers gathered there also took the police force hostage and adamant on the demand to arrest the accused. Simultaneously, they started demanding to get the woman married to Chandreshwar Paswan. At the same time, various discussions have started taking place in the village regarding this whole matter.
