Adventures are okay but let not it be on a tight rope hanging over delight and death.

Life is unpredictable. Always be prepared for the best and the worst.

Recently, A man hiking with his wife in New Hampshire died Saturday after falling 300 feet off a mountain, officials said.

The couples were at the top of Mount Willard around 10:30 a.m. when the unidentified man fell over the edge and down a steep cliff, NBC Boston reported.

In addition, the couple began to take photos when they reached the summit of the mountain, but the hiker’s wife heard her husband yell out around 10:30 a.m.  When she turned around to look at him, she saw him falling over the edge of the mountain. The drop extended over 800 feet, or 245 metres, Fish and Game officials said.

Mountain Rescue Service personnel rappelled down the cliff and found the hiker dead about 2:30 p.m., about four hours after he fell, the station reported. He was about 300 feet below the summit.

The rescue team raised the man’s body back up the summit and took it to the trailhead parking area about 6:45 p.m., NBC Boston reported.

Further information was not immediately available Monday morning. A representative for the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department could not immediately be reached for comment.
