Pakistan’s National Assembly Resumes Proceedings

Islamabad, April 9 : Pakistan’s National Assembly has resumed it’s proceedings in which debate on the no confidence motion is likely to take place. A news report in a particular Pakistani news portal had reported that the National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has refused to allow voting on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The report had been filed by the portal citing an unnamed source. The portal has now retracted and deleted the news report. The National Assembly is in session and further details are awaited.
