Patna, Feb 21 : Reacting sharply over five years jail term to his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief, after his conviction in a case related to fraudulent withdrawal from Doranda treasury of Ranchi in connection with multi-crore rupee fodder scam, leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejasvi Prasad Yadav trained his gun towards the opposition saying that his father was imprisoned only for being leader of the poor people. Yadav said here on Monday that of those who were behind the bars maximum belonged to poor section.
He said the CBI Court was not the ultimate court and it’s verdict would be challenged in the high court as well as in the supreme court. Taking potshot at Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar he said that 80 scams took place during the regime of Kumar but no one was punished. He alleged that Srijan scam in Bihar was of larger dimension compared to the fodder scam but was not properly investigated . Blaming misuse of Investigating Agencies Yadav alleged that action was not being initiated against those who join BJP .
