Islamabad Rally Battle For Pakistan’s Future: Imran Khan

Islamabad, March 27 : Facing no-confidence motion, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday released a message urging people to participate in his “battle for Pakistan’s future” in Islamabad. He said, “The jalsa being held today is not the PTI’s fight but the battle for Pakistan’s future. “Today, we are out to make Pakistan’s history.” While urging people to reach the ‘Amr Bil Maroof’ rally as soon as possible, the PM cautioned that they might not be able to reach the venue on time because of traffic gridlocks on the roads leading to the capital, ARY News reported. In a tweet, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf senator Faisal Javed Khan said the public meeting would begin at 3 pm and PM Imran Khan would likely address the participants around 4 pm. This rally comes ahead of no-confidence motion against Imran Khan. The motion was submitted by the Opposition on March 8 after a long march in Islamabad by the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). Meanwhile, more than 50 ministers of the ruling party have gone ‘missing’ from the political front, The Express Tribune reported citing sources.
