Imran Meets Chinese, Uzbek Leaders
Beijing, Feb 5: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday met with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The three met during Khan’s on going visit in Beijing to attend 2022 Winter Olympics.
According to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain raised Kashmir and Afghanistan issues during both meetings. China has always played an important role as Pakistan’s political, economic and strategic partner, Hussain added.
The Pakistani PM is on a four day visit to China along with his Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, Planning Minister Asad Umar, and Hussain. Pakistan National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf, Commerce Adviser Abdul Razak Dawood and Special Assistant on China Pakistan Economic Corridor Khalid Mansoor are also part of the delegation.
