Count-Down In Pak: Islamabad Prepares For No-Confidence Motion Against Imran Khan

Islamabad, April 3  : In Pakistan all focus is on the National Assembly here on Sunday as the vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan is about to get underway, Geo News reported. The NA is all set to hold the crucial vote and sitting of Parliament which will determine Imran Khan’s future, which will begin at 11:30 am here on Sunday. Imran Khan himself will be attending the crucial session of the Lower House to be held under NA Speaker Asad Qaiser and he has also given instructions to his party MNAs to attend the session, thus overturning his earlier order wherein he had asked them to not attend the same. Imran Khan is trying to exude confident that he will be able to defeat the no-confidence motion against him, the sources said, adding that the premier has decided to fight till the last ball.

Meanwhile the administration in the federal capital Islamabad authorities have imposed Section 144 to prevent any untoward incident on this important day and have also completely banned pillion riding in the city for the day. Islamabad deputy commissioner said that the Red Zone has been sealed with big containers and barbed wires and security has been further enhanced in the federal capital. The city administration has also prohibited all kinds of gatherings in areas in and outside the Red Zone within a one-kilometre radius. Furthermore, a notification issued by Islamabad’s district magistrate has prohibited ‘all kinds of gatherings of 5 or more persons, processions/rallies and demonstrations inside the Red Zone.
