Rae Bareli, July 20: Five persons, including two children, were killed when a dumper loaded with fly ash overturned over an SUV in Bhadokhar area, police sources said here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that families of two businessmen had gone out for dinner at dhaba. “While they were returning the dumber in a bid to overtake the SUV overturned and fell over it in Munshiganj,” they said.
Police sources said that when the local residents heard the crashing sound they informed the police. “The police with the help of villagers pulled the victims out of the SUV. However, five persons, including Rakesh Agarwal (45), Sonam Agarwal (35) Reyansh (6), Raisa (9) and Ruchika Agarwal (35) died on the spot,” they said.
Police sources said that three more children Aditya (11), Rachit Agarwal and Tansi (9) were injured in the accidents. “While Aditya and Tansi were discharged after first aid, Rachit is being treated at a private nursing home,” they said.
