Nepal’s Tara Air Flight Missing, Family Of 4 From Odisha Among 22 Onboard
Bhubaneswar, May 29: The missing Nepal’s Tara Air flight had carried onboard an Odia family of 4 from Bhubaneswar. According to reports, they’re resident of Jaydev Vihar area here, and was on a trip to Nepal with his wife, son and daughter.
A Delhi-based travel agency, which had arranged the family’s ill-fated trip, has confirmed about it. The Tara Airlines Flight with 22 people on board, including four Indians (all from Odisha) had gone gone missing since 9.30 am of Sunday.
The Tara Air 9 NAET twin-engine aircraft lost contact while flying from the tourist town of Pokhara, some 200 km northwest of the capital, Kathmandu, to Jomsom, about 80 km to the northwest, Tara Air officials said.
The aircraft, which was on a 15-minute scheduled flight, lost contact shortly after take-off at 9:55 am local time. As per the local police, the aircraft has been suspected to have crashed in the “Titi” area of Lete in the mountainous Mustang district.
