Bengal LOP Suvendu’s convoy hit by truck
Kolkata, July 1 : The convoy of Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari was hit by a truck at Marishadah in East Midnapore on Friday. However, he was not injured.
Taking to his Twitter handle, Adhikari said, “A heavy vehicle rammed into a CRPF escort car of my convoy. By the grace of Lord Jagannath nobody was hurt. ”
“I am not injured & would continue attending scheduled events,” he said,
“I am grateful for the innumerous calls enquiring about my wellbeing & would assure everyone that I am fine,” Adhikari stated.
He, however, tweeted, ” Participated in vibrant #RathYatra festivities at three joyful events showcasing Sanatani cultural heritage & deep connect with the divine Lord. ”
“Consider myself fortunate to pull the wheels of Lord Jagannath’s chariot. Jai Jagannath,” he said.
