Bhubaneswar, June 5  Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday prayed for the speedy recovery and good health of former Odisha Assembly Speaker Surya Narayan Patro.
Taking to Twitter, Patnaik said he was apprised about the treatment of former Speaker and senior BJD leader in a hospital and prayed for his speedy recovery and good health.
Speaker S N Patro resigned from his post on Saturday. His son Biplab Patro said his father had resigned from the post on health grounds.
Patro is undergoing treatment for a serious kidney ailment and infection in his eyes.
