New Delhi March 25: India registered 1,685 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total tally of cases in the country to 4,30,16,372, according to the Health Ministry data on Friday. As many as 83 fresh Covid fatalities were also recorded, taking the total death count in the country to 5,16,755.
The active cases currently stand at 21,530 which now comprise 0.05 per cent of the total infections, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate has decreased to 98.75 per cent. Meanwhile, 2,499 recoveries were also reported, increasing the total to 4,24,78,087. So far 78.56 Crore tests for Covid-19 have been done. On Thursday a total of 6,91,45 tests have been conducted. “India has administered 182.55 cr doses of Covid-19 vaccine so far under the ongoing nationwide vaccination drive,” Ministry data said. UNI
