Bhubaneswar, Nov 6 : BJP’s Suryavansi Suraj is leading by 5991 votes over his nearest rival BJD’s Abanti Das after 8th round of counting of votes for the by-poll to Dhamnagar (SC) Assembly constituency.
While Survansi polled 36073 votes, Abanti Das secured 30082 votes at the end of eigth round of counting of votes.
Congress nominee Baba Harekrushna Sethi got 1236 votes and Rajendra Kumar Das (Ind) secured 5147 votes.
While Pavitra Mohan Das polled 218 votes 288 have chosen the NOTA option.
