“Dreams Make Me Run”: Pradeep Mehra, An Enthusiast

Mar 21: The incessant running video of a 19-year-old boy sprinting down a lonely Noida road at midnight has become the eye-candy of millions overnight on social media.

A Uttarakhand boy, Pradeep Mehra and his midnight run is definitely an inspiration to many who aspire and dare to to dream big in life. he says, the discomforts and the have-not life has made him so to not-have join the army. Pradeep caught filmmaker Vinod Kapri’s attention when he was driving past the same route back home. While offering a lift to the former all soaked in sweat, he replied very politely that he runs back home from work place to pace him up to “To join the army”, the DREAM of his life.

It’s pertinent to say that, Mehra runs a 10-km stretch daily, from his work in Noida’s Sector 16 to his home in Barola, where he stays with his younger brother. His mother is unwell and is currently hospitalised.

The internet is in awe of this young man’s determination and grit. They couldn’t stop lauding him as well as the filmmaker for bringing forth Pradeep’s story.

Some users also prayed for his success.
