Shraddha Kapoor’s Brother Siddhanth Detained For Allegedly Consuming Drugs
Bengaluru, June 13: Siddhanth Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor’s brother, has been detained for allegedly consuming drugs in a rave party here, according to police.
Samples of those suspected of having consumed drugs were sent for testing and Siddhanth’s was among six who tested positive, police said.
“Siddhanth has tested positive for drugs and has been brought to Ulsoor Police Station,” DCP East Dr Bheemashankar S Guled said.
The police raided a hotel on Sunday night on MG Road where a party was being held on a tip off.
Siddhanth, Shakti Kapoor’s son, has acted in several Hindi films such as “Shootout at Wadala”, “Haseena Parker” and “Chehre”.
He last appeared in the 2020 web series ‘Bhaukaal’ in which he played the role of Chintu Dedha.
Siddhanth has also worked as assistant director in “Bhool Bhulaiya” and “Dhol” among others.
Shraddha was also questioned by the Narcotics Control Bureau in 2020 in connection with the drugs case that was probed following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The other actors involved in the drugs case were Sara Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
