Adivi’s Major To Release On May 27

Mumbai, Feb 4: The makers of Telugu superstar Adivi Sesh starrer ‘Major’ on Friday announced that the biographical drama will be released on May 27. The movie is based on the real-life experience of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan during 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, the action drama also features Saiee Manjrekar, Shobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murali Sharma in pivotal roles.

Sharing the poster on Instagram and Twitter, Adivi captioned: “THIS. SUMMER. WILL. BE. MASSIVE. #Majorthefilm Worldwide on 27 May, 2022 #Major ka promise hai ye” along with two fire emojis. Jointly bankrolled by Sony Pictures Films India, GMB Entertainment, and A+S Movies, the biopic will be released in three languages — Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
