Congress Demands NIA Investigation Into Allegations Made By Kumar Vishwas

Jalandhar, Feb 19 : AICC General Secretary and Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala on Friday demanded a probe by the National Investigation Agency(NIA) into the serious allegations leveled against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by his former colleague and famous poet Kumar Vishwas. Surjewala, while interacting with reporters here, shortly before the end of his open poll campaign said that Kejriwal had been trapped due to allegations leveled by his former colleague and founder member of the Aam Adami Party (AAP) Kumar Vishwas as the allegations are very serious in nature and are related to the security of the country which Kejriwal has been making an issue while targeting the Congress and has been saying that if his government comes to power, there will be no compromise on the issue of internal or external security.
Kumar Vishwas had alleged that Kejriwal, along with separatists and Khalistani supporters wanted to rule Punjab and gain power at the center through Punjab. Surjewala said that Kumar Vishwas has exposed this conspiracy of Kejriwal. He said that Kejriwal is now avoiding questions from the media regarding this. Surjewala also took a jibe at the Election Commission and said that the Election Commission had earlier imposed a ban on publishing and broadcasting the main videos of Kumar Vishwas and the material released by him. When Kumar Vishwas objected to this, the commission withdrew its decision. “This shows that Kejriwal is involved in this whole matter. If Kejriwal is not involved then why is he not coming out in the open? Why is no action being taken against Kumar Vishwas.
It is a matter of security of the country. The central government should also intervene in this matter and take action against Kejriwal.” Surjewala also said that if the central government wants, it can take action by registering a case against Kejriwal through the NIA. Punjab has already faced the dark phase. Now if conspiracies are going on to destroy and separate Punjab in this way, then it should not be tolerated at any cost. He also alleged that Kejriwal sidelined leaders like HS Phoolka, Sucha Singh Chhotepur in the party. There are many leaders whom Kejriwal sidelined just for the pleasure of power. Now Kejriwal has started dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister of Punjab secretly by conspiring to advance Bhagwant Mann. Surjewala said that the party will not tolerate any kind of indiscipline in the party and that action had been taken against many leaders who had violated the policies and discipline of the party and action will be taken against many others.
