Mumbai, Jun 15: The BSE Sensex on Wednesday rose marginally by 39 points to 52,732.88 as buying was seen in Finance, Health Care and Industrials stocks.
The Nifty also moved up by 12.35 points to 15,744.45.
The Sensex registered the days high and low at 52,819.79 and 52,538.51 points respectively.
The Nifty registered the days high and low at 15, 780.15 and 15,683.30 points respectively.
The Mid cap went up 0.40 per cent and Small Cap by 0.59 per cent.
In 30 scrips, 18 advanced while 12 declined.
The gainers were Bajaj Finserv by 2.47 per cent to Rs 11,615.05, Tata Steel by 1.91 per cent to Rs 963.40, M & M by 1.83 per cent to Rs 1037.45, Bajaj finance by 1.32 per cent to Rs 5446.05 and Maruti Suzuki by 1.22 per cent to Rs 7906.15.
The losers were IndusInd Bank by 1.51 per cent to Rs 831, Hind Unilever by 1.28 per cent to Rs 2144.35, NTPC by 0.79 per cent to Rs 150.05 and HDFC by 0.37 per cent to Rs 2097.05.
